First
off I have one exclamation…..WOW! Just when I thought a kilted highlander
couldn’t possibly get any sexier, Ms. Spear gives him the ability to shift into
wolf mode, bringing the term, alpha maleness, to a whole new level.
The
majority of the story was set in the Cayman Islands, but the author did an
incredible job of keeping the Scottish flare alive throughout the entire read.
The storyline was action-packed and suspenseful, and it kept me on the edge of
my seat.
Duncan
MacNeill is a scorching hot warrior in jeans and a tee, but can also rock a
kilt and fur! His character is edgy,
volatile (when needed) and witty! It was very easy to fall in love with him,
and it’s no wonder the heroine was intrigued from the beginning.
Shelley
Campbell is a Scot, living in America and though she knows her limitations
coming up against alpha wolves…she won’t hesitate to help her mate, Duncan. She is adventurous, carefree and
intelligent. All the things I love for
in a heroine.
This
was my first werewolf/shifter read, and I absolutely adored it!! A Howl of Highlander is Book 10 of Terry Spear’s
Werewolf/Shifter series, but it can totally be read as a stand-alone. However, I loved this story so much, that I
will be reading the rest of the series in the very near future! If you love
paranormal romance and a storyline that compels you to keep turning the pages,
then you don’t want to miss A Howl For A Highlander!
